Snake in the Grass ๐Ÿ๐Ÿƒ

"Not everyone who calls you 'sis' comes in peace."

I wrote this poem, "Snake in the Grass," during a season when betrayal tried to break me. I trusted someone who wore a sister's smile but moved like a serpent in silence. This is for the ones who've ever been bitten by someone they once prayed for.

But healing has a sound-and this is mine.

I cut the grass. And now I see clearly.
